Our Story

We produce a line of hand-poured candles using a proprietary blend of beeswax and coconut wax that double as drippable surf wax.  Each candle in our line contains a slice of its namesake surf spot: a hand-collected base of sand and personally curated collection of shells which reveal themselves as the candles melt.  Our ever-expanding line of candles currently includes surf spots ranging from Pacific Beach and Tourmaline in Southern California to Capitola and The Hook in Northern California. Their scent evokes summer, with hints of sunscreen and tropical fruit, while our wooden wicks crackle like a beach fire. 

We designed our candles with a dual purpose, both candle and drippable surf wax, as a reminder of the practices of the earliest modern surfers of the '30s and '40s, who dripped (then, simple paraffin) wax on their boards to provide grip.  Buy a surf wax candle today and own a piece, not only of the beach, but of surf history.
